Compass: Navigating Campus with our catholic community

August 17-20, 2025
Compass is a pre-Welcome Weekend program sponsored by Skyhawk Catholic Campus Ministry. Participating in Compass allows you to move in early, meet new friends in our Catholic faith community, enjoy the Newman Center, and (if you are new to Martin) get familiar with the campus, St. Jude Catholic Church, and the City of Martin before classes begin. Commuters, returning students, freshmen, and transfer students are all welcome to join us!

Participants will move into residence halls on Sunday, August 17, and Compass begins with dinner that evening. Monday-Wednesday students will participate in breakout sessions and activities at the Newman Center and on campus, with free time and optional activities available. Meals will be provided.

The registration fee is $30. Meals are provided.

UT Martin's Early Move-In Form

Anyone moving into a residence hall early (before August 21) will need to complete UT Martin's early move-in form using the link below. This form must be completed, submitted, and approved before you can move in on August 17 to participate in Compass.  Students may move in early beginning August 13 at no extra charge.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENT: All required vaccinations must be completed and documentation submitted to UT Martin Housing at least two weeks before move-in. Visit the Immunization Compliance Process and Forms page on UT Martin's website for more information.

You will need your UT Martin log in and student ID number to complete the early move-in form. Choose "Student Organization" for the reason you are moving in early.

Commuters do not need to complete this form.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel your registration, please email us at [email protected]. Students may receive a full refund until July 31, 2025. Cancellations between August 1-9 are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds after August 9.
